The Market at Causeway Center
At our Market neighbors “shop” for groceries in a welcoming, dignified environment. Volunteers play an important role by greeting shoppers, stocking shelves, checking the quality of grocery items, bagging groceries, and assisting neighbors to their cars for unloading. Some lifting may be required for volunteers who are able.

The Bistro at Causeway Center
At The Bistro, located at Causeway Center, we serve our neighbors a nutritious cafe-style meal of their choice. Volunteers assume the role of front and back of the house restaurant staff including: taking neighbors’ orders, serving and bussing tables, preparing meals, supporting with kitchen prep, and other restaurant tasks as needed.

Entryway Greeters at Causeway Center
As an Entryway Greeter, you will be responsible for ensuring a friendly welcome for new and returning neighbors as they come to receive services. You may also help neighbors with same-day shopping at The Market, assist with record keeping of neighbors visiting, and other tasks as needed by the FTB Navigators. An ideal volunteer for this role would be someone who is comfortable working directly with neighbors and confident working independently. We are looking for volunteers who have a welcoming attitude, are good listeners, and have a friendly demeanor. All training is provided onsite, however this is a very front-facing volunteer position.
