Shifts like these go beyond the standard call for volunteers, asking you to dive deeper into our mission and support various departments within our organization.
Thank-A-Thon
Thank-A-Thon volunteers will participate in organized efforts to express gratitude to donors of Feeding Tampa Bay. During your shift, you can expect to be calling and writing thank-you notes to individuals who have contributed to our cause and supported food insecure neighbors across the ten counties we serve.
Location: Causeway Center: 3624 Causeway Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619
Shift Days & Times: November 2026 - January 2027 Monday-Thursday 1:00-4:30pm
Restrictions: Volunteers must be 18+ years old & this is NOT a court-ordered volunteer opportunity
Event Ambassadors Trainings
Looking to engage with your community and advocate against food insecurity? Become an Event Ambassador and represent Feeding Tampa Bay at community events!
This is a Skills-Based Volunteering opportunity that requires a regular commitment, therefore prior to tabling, all volunteers must undergo this training. The training includes learning more about facts and programs behind FTB, reviewing table set-up and event expectations, as well as practicing your own elevator pitch.
